Black Friday Glitch
(about project)
Target's Black Friday sale needed to feel like it was actually happening, not just another banner drop. The concept centred on a glitch treatment, colour splitting, signal drop-outs, the screen straining under the weight of the discounts about to land, and I designed and animated it across the campaign.

(RESULT)
The idea had to work everywhere Target's audience already was: social media stories, infeed ads and HTML banners, each video doing its own job rather than one asset stretched across formats, countdowns building anticipation before the sale opened, exclusive previews teasing specific discounted items once it had.
